Clara asks callers a series of questions to collect the information you need. You can customise which questions are asked and in what order.
Default questions
By default, Clara will ask for:
- What the caller needs help with
- Their name
- Their phone number
- Their location or postcode
Adding custom questions
- Open the Clara app
- Go to Settings → Questions
- Tap Add Question
- Type your question and choose whether it’s required or optional
- Drag to reorder if needed
Examples of custom questions
- “Is this an emergency or can it wait?”
- “Do you have a preferred date for the appointment?”
- “Have you used our services before?”
- “What’s the make and model of your vehicle?” (for mechanics)
Removing questions
Tap the question you want to remove and select Delete. Core questions like “What do you need help with?” cannot be removed.
