Clara Teams lets you invite people to your Clara business account so they can work inquiries alongside you. You control what each team member sees, and Clara Teams seats are billed separately from your Pro plan.
What you’ll need
- A Pro plan subscription
- £29/month per Clara Teams seat
Inviting a team member
Team members are invited from the website, not the Clara app.
- Go to app.heyitsclara.com and sign in as the account owner
- Click Teams
- Click Invite team member
- Enter their email and send the invite
They’ll receive an email invite. Once they accept it, they’re added to your account and can sign in to the Clara app.
Only account owners can invite team members, and only from app.heyitsclara.com. There’s no way to invite someone from within the Clara app.
How billing works
- You’re not charged until the invite is accepted. Sending an invite doesn’t start billing. The seat is only added to your bill once the team member accepts.
- The first charge is prorated. If a team member accepts partway through your billing cycle, you’re charged only for the days remaining in that cycle. From the next cycle onward, the seat renews at the full monthly rate.
- Clara Teams seats are billed on their own invoice. They’re charged separately from your Pro subscription, not bundled into it.
Cancelling Pro doesn't remove Clara Teams seats
Your Pro plan and your Clara Teams seats are billed independently. If you cancel Pro, your team members stay on the account and you keep being charged for their seats. To stop being charged for a seat, remove that team member from Teams on app.heyitsclara.com.
Choosing what a team member can see
When you invite or edit a team member, set their call access to one of:
- All calls: they see every inquiry that comes into the business
- Assigned to them: they only see inquiries you or another team member has assigned to them
Change this at any time from Teams on app.heyitsclara.com.
Assigning an inquiry to a team member
- Open the inquiry
- Click Assign
- Choose the team member
The team member can then call the customer back and mark the inquiry resolved.
Removing a team member
- Go to Teams on app.heyitsclara.com
- Select the team member
- Click Remove
You stop being charged for that seat from your next billing cycle. Any inquiries assigned to them stay in the account but are no longer assigned.
