We take data protection seriously. Here’s how Clara keeps your information safe.
Data encryption
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). This includes call recordings, transcripts, and caller details.
Where data is stored
Clara’s servers are hosted in the UK and EU. We do not transfer your data outside of these regions unless you explicitly request it.
Access control
Only you can access your Clara account and call data. Our support team can access limited account information to help resolve issues, but never listens to your call recordings without your explicit permission.
Data retention
- Call recordings and transcripts are retained for 90 days by default. You can change this in Settings → Privacy.
- Account data is retained for as long as your account is active.
- Deleted data is permanently removed within 30 days of deletion.
GDPR compliance
Clara is fully GDPR compliant. You can request a copy of your data or ask for it to be deleted at any time by contacting our support team.
