What stays in your account
Everything you configure and everything Clara learns from your calls is isolated to your account:
- Your greeting, voice, and questions - the way Clara answers for you
- Custom instructions and business knowledge - your services, pricing rules, policies, service area, and anything else you’ve taught Clara
- Call history and summaries - recordings, transcripts, and the details Clara captures
- Caller memory - Clara recognizes your returning customers by name. That relationship history belongs to your account only
None of this is shared with, visible to, or used by any other Clara account. If a competitor down the road signs up for Clara, they start from scratch with the same blank receptionist everyone gets. They don’t inherit your setup, your answers, or anything Clara has learned about your business.
What every account shares
All Clara receptionists are built on the same underlying AI, which comes with general knowledge out of the box, including trade know-how it has without being taught. That base capability is the same for every customer. What sits on top of it, everything in the list above, is yours alone.
Why this matters
If you’ve invested time training Clara on your business, that investment is part of how you compete: faster answers, better-qualified callers, customers greeted by name. Another business using Clara gets the same tool, but not your configuration. The receptionist you’ve built is yours.
